In the Mikaelson family, anything can happen. Although their principal loyalty is to their family, there are days when the siblings just want to stake one another. But will their recent situation ease the tension in their relationship in "The Originals" Season 4.
The last we saw the Mikaelson siblings, they are all under deep sleep due to a potion created by Freya in order to save them. Their lives are now tethered to Klaus, who is staked by Papa Tunde's blade and is suffering pain far worse than death.
It has been confirmed that "The Originals" Season 4 will pick up after a five-year time jump. While we can hope that by then Kol has forgiven Klaus for killing Davina, there's really no telling if the siblings are now on each other's side against Marcel.
However, there might be a chance Davina could be resurrected in "The Originals" Season 4. When asked about her character, actress Danielle Campbell did not close any doors and in fact said "never say never!"
"A lot of it depends on story arcs and availability down the line, but I think it's going to be up in the air," Campbell told TVLine. "[The producers and writers are] still going to be figuring out the next storylines once they return for the next season, so it hinges on what'll happen a few months from now."
On the bright side, actress Claire Holt, who plays Rebekah, told Morning Ledger that she would like to have her family back together in "The Originals" Season 4.
"I'd like to see [Rebekah and her family] back together and have a team," Holt said during a press conference at Asia POP Comicon Manila 2016. She believes Rebekah will return to save her family if "all goes to plan."
Another factor that could probably bring the siblings closer together is Hope, Klaus' daughter. By the time we meet her again in "The Originals" Season 4, she's already a big toddler and still uncover the extent of her powers. She and her mom Haley are on a mission to save Klaus and the rest of the family.
"The Originals" Season 4 will premiere in The CW on 2017.
