Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered

Infinity Ward just shelled out the Holiday patch for "Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered" as fans will be getting nifty items and a bunch of new maps at no extra cost.

Game publisher Activision, outlined most of the cool stuff players will be getting. It was announced that six new maps will be added on top of the 10 others that the remastered game already had. The latest inductees of battleground include "Pipeline," which is an abandoned Russian train yard which is highly recommended for team-based battles.

"Strike" is another map perfect for such gameplay since it is being depicted as a small town in the middle of the desert. Another desert arena dubbed "Showdown" is also included in the mix that is recommended for small groups of players. Moreover, "Bloc" will be situated in a rundown Russian apartment complex which is noted to be suitable for "domination matches." The other two maps include "Countdown," which is a massive collective of missile silos, and "Wet Work" where players will be battling it out on a massive cargo ship.

"Winter Crash" will also be stashed in the new patch as players unleash mayhem in a Holiday-themed town, complete with Christmas trees, lights and all.

Apart from the additional maps, players can expect supply drops from time to time within the game and can be opened via depot credits or "Call of Duty" points. Nevertheless, these rations will only include cosmetic items that bring aesthetic value to weapons and camos

Also, the new game tweak chipped in a female character that is said to be a first in the game that would cater lady gamers who just want to represent, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.

Melee weapons are also included in the recently released patch. A total of six of them were added namely "Brawler's Brew," "Cliffhanger," "Bayonet," "Scorpion," "Gravedigger," and the "Omsk Hammer."
