The NES Classic Edition had proven a massive success for Nintendo and supplies have run out as quickly as they became available. However, it has since been confirmed that Best Buy will be resupplying their stock soon and will begin selling the console again this Dec. 20.

According to BGR, only a limited supply will be available. The Best Buy customer service further states that the console will only be in physical stores and will not be sold in the official site. Consumers lining up at Best Buy outlets will be given tickets on a "first-come, first-served" basis and the number of tickets will reflect the number of supplies available.

It is further stated that consumers who have not been able to purchase the NES Classic Edition should attempt to get it next week as this may be the last opportunity possible before Christmas. Best Buy is also offering a tech sale akin to Black Friday deals and this sale will run from Thursday, Dec. 15 to Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Best Buy is not the only retailer offering the NES Classic Edition for a second time. Amazon will be offering the console as well but only in limited supplies and only to select cities.

According to Gamespot, a similar offer has been announced by Game Stop. Think Geek has also offered the console to select people on their wishlist, giving only 24 hours to purchase it. Other retailers such as Walmart have not yet stated if they too will be offering the NES Classic Edition before the holidays.

It is further stated that Nintendo managed to sell over 196,000 units in the US for the month of November but this could have been higher if the company managed to meet the high demand. It is also noted that while the retail price for the NES Classic Edition is $60 it is being resold on sites like eBay for $200 and higher.
