Actress Han Hye-Jin arrives for the opening ceremony of the 17th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) at the Busan Cinema Center on October 4, 2012 in Busan, South Korea.

Han Hye Jin has left the fate of "My Ugly Duckling" hanging in the balance after jetting off to England to spend time with her husband. On Dec. 17, Saturday, the Korean actress flew to Swansea, Wales, where hubby Ki Sung Yong is currently located.

Ki is a professional football player who represents Swansea City A.F.C. in the English Premier League. Han was a regular cast member on "My Ugly Duckling" and has filmed several episodes of the SBS talk show show. However, the series will be unable to continue without the actress.

"She's filmed enough to last the show until January, so please watch over her," Han's label said in a statement obtained by All Kpop. "As for after that, we'll be talking with SBS on what to do."

Han and Ki, often referred to as the Posh and Becks of Korea, went public with their relationship via social media in March 2013. The couple announced their engagement months later and tied the knot in the South Korean capital of Seoul on July 1, 2013.

In February 2015, it was revealed that Han and Ki were expecting their very first child and welcomed a baby girl in September 2015, two years into their marriage. The birth of the little bundle of joy took place at a hospital in Seoul.

Han's departure should not come as a surprise as she has previously mentioned in an interview with a South Korean publication, as cited by Wales Online. Han said that she would move to the U.K. to be with her husband after wrapping up filming of her ongoing projects.

"Until the end of July, I will continue with filming for my movie 'When a Man Loves' and recording 'Healing Camp,'" Han said during the interview. "After that, I will depart to accompany my husband."
