Former U.S. President Bill Clinton’s nightmare may return to haunt him once more 18 years since it scandalized the White House. A movie about former White House intern Monica Lewinsky is being planned.

The film pitched by UTA focuses on the relationship between Lewinsky and Linda Tripp who almost destroyed Clinton. Tripp recorded her phone calls with Lewinsky who was then having an affair with the president. Tripp was convinced by Lucianne Goldberg, a literary agent, to record her phone conversations with Lewinsky.

The script of “Linda and Monica,” a drama written by Flint Wainess, who authored “Rome is Burning,” is on top of Black List, a compendium of top movie scripts being sold to studios. Goldberg said that while no one has spoken to her about a possible movie, she believes it is a fabulous story the bulk of which is unknown yet by the public, Pagesix reported.

To portray Lewinski – the intern known for swallowing the president’s seed which also stained her blue Gap dress – Goldberg sees Latina singer Selena Gomez as the perfect choice. She recommends Charlize Theron for the role of Tripp.

Lewinsky was hired as a White House intern in 1995. From November 1995 through March 1997, she had nine sexual encounters with Clinton. She eventually became a bag designer, spokesperson of diet company Jenny Craig, hosted a reality TV dating show and acquired a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics. Her campaign now is anti-cyberbullying.

Because of her own experience of cyberbullying, Lewinski suggested when Donald Trump was named Time Person of the Year that it should have been the internet trolls who got the title. Although trolls have been around for years, Lewinsky pointed out that in 2016, the trolls “sprouted and proliferated, passed a tipping point, and ran rampant across the Web,” AOL quoted Lewinsky.
