"Red Dead Redemption 2" release date and updates are a highly sought online. With its latest leaked information, players are expected to have more fun, including its potential online mode and the rumored 3 playable characters.

The follow-up game sequel of "Red Dead Redemption" has been confirmed recently. With its impending release this fall of 2017, fans are likely excited about what the latest sequel would offer. As per Express, there are now surfacing information that "RDR 2" will likely have an altered player mode similar to that of Rockstar's "Grand Theft Auto 5."

According to the anonymous insider, the new sequel of "Red Dead Redemption" will include not just one, but three playable characters, much like that of "GTA 5's" Trevor, Michael and Franklin.

"It'll be just like Redemption. Single player story. open world, stranger events, gang hideouts and all that s**t. Three playable characters of John's former gang, and John isn't one," Express quoted the insider as saying.

Although the leaks are yet to be confirmed, this particular change may be possible considering that "GTA 5" has gained success over the past years, not to mention its "GTA Online" campaign. Thus, suggesting another potential marketing strategy of opening "Red Dead Redemption" follow-up to the scene.

According to Gizmodo, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is said to have an online mode still similar to that of GTA 5. To somehow avoid conflicts with the upcoming "RDR 2" single player offline game, it is being suggested that the online mode will likely follow a year after its release.

Under such circumstance, it is to be expected that gamers will flock for the purchase of the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2," especially that new game features are to be added. However, apart from the gameplay changes, it is also important to note that the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption" sequel will be packed with "incredible emotional depth" as what Express pointed out.
