"Battlefield 1" gets their first free DLC map, which is now available for everyone. The new concept art for the upcoming expansion has been revealed.

According to the official website of the video game, the first free DLC map, Giant's Shadow, will be available for everyone to download today. This map will take place at the Battle of the Selle and it will feature gameplay that has trains, airplanes, and tanks.

The name of the map came from the idea of the shadow of a massive fallen airship, and it serves as the backdrop of what is happening in the skirmish. It was launched earlier this month for players who bought the game's season pass. Those who have the season pass will gain access to new maps two weeks earlier.

According to another post on the official website of the video game, They Shall Not Pass will be the first "Battlefield 1" expansion and will be released in March. It will feature all-new maps, new weapons, and the new playable French Army faction. Game developer DICE has also revealed the new concept art for the video game that represent some of the battlefields that players will encounter in the upcoming expansion.

One of the concept art images shared was the Battle of Verdun, where forests were extinguished with flames due to flametroopers. Another cause of these massive forest fires were the 1 million shells that were fired in the opening barrage of the battle. The game developers wanted to capture this initial fighting that came to be known as the Devil's Anvil.

Another image of concept art was the story of the heroic garrison inside of Fort Vaux. It inspired the game developers of how bravely the soldiers fought a tough battle against their enemies inside. The French and the Germans fought with grenades, flamethrowers, and different types of poison gas.

For players who want to gain early access with They Shall Not Pass expansion for "Battlefield 1," they can get the Premium Pass first. It will also get them two-week early access to all four expansions when they are launched. They also get priority server access, 20 new weapons, 14 free Superior Battlepacks, unique Dog Tags, and many more bonuses.
