'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' is an action-RPG video game developed by CD Projekt RED for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Platform.

New details for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature a new mod and updates regarding the development of the "Gwent" spin-off game.

A new mod has been revealed for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" which featured a full-scale winter setting to the game similar to that of "Game of Thrones". The winter mod came from modder KNGR can be downloaded from Nexusmods and adds the winter setting to most of "The Witcher 3’s" non-DLC areas like "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine", WCCFTech reported.

It has been a long time since a new mod for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has been created since the release of the sequel's final DLC expansion "Blood and Wine" not to mention the "Game of the Year" edition.

In other news, CD Projekt RED revealed new details on "The Witcher" spin-off "Gwent" as the developers responded to community concerns that were raised during the closed beta and overhauled the progression and reward systems of the game.

First, under the new reward system, players need six crown halves to fill a progress bar and unlock a reward as opposed to three wins. Each round they win within a Gwent match is worth a crown half.

Secondl, there is now a more comprehensive experience system, which grants players with specific rewards at each level. Everyone is going to start at level ten or lower, depending on their standing in Gwent’s old level system, and will be back-gifted any rewards from lower levels. Players will earn XP independent of wins and losses, so everyone should progress steadily.

Lastly, ranked play unlocks at level ten, as experienced players who have not been dropped back to level one. Ranked play is another way for Gwent players to earn in-game rewards.

The "Gwent" spin-off game made its debut on the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 event and apparently the game will look considerably different than the version gamers seen in "The Witcher" series. In order to make the decks less one-sided than Geralt’s end game deck, there will likely be some sort of mechanics put in play to ensure balance.

Cross-play will also reportedly be available, and the game will feature redesigned visuals. A single-player mode will feature alongside the game’s strong multiplayer experience.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
