iPhone 2017 rumors: iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, Ferrari iPhone with topnotch specs next year?

The new iPhone 7 and the 7 Plus are displayed on a table at an Apple store in Manhattan on September 16, 2016 in New York City.

Fresh report coming from China states that Apple is currently working on three new models of iPhone for 2017. It is learned that the one of the 2017 iPhones is codenamed as Ferrari.

The devices are internally known as D20, D21, and D22. It is assumed that the D20, and D21 will be coming with the brand names iPhone 7s, and iPhone 7s Plus. These phones will be coming out to replace iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The D22 that is codenamed as Ferrari will be a high-end model with exotic technology onboard.

These details have been unearthed by Sina Weibo user, Apple Insider reported. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were codenamed as D10 and surprisingly codenamed as D20 during development.

Ferrari IPhone 2017 Specifications, Features

Ferrari is speculated to come with a borderless OLED screen, a Home button embedded under the display, wireless charging support and other functions. The device is expected to come with 5.1-inch or 5.2-inch display and it will be flanked with glass on both its sides.

Ferrari Internal Components

The device's internal logic board will be divided into two, which will be connected by using flex cable. The first part will have all the hardware configurations of iPhone such as A11 processor and NAND flash storage. The other part of the logic board will carry support for cellular components and Wi-Fi,

It is said that the Apple will be shifting the SIM tray at the bottom of the device, in order to make space for internal components. The internal design is expected to be similar to iPad Pro.

iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus Features

The iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus are expected to house LCD screens of respective sizes of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch. Since it will be 10th anniversary year for iPhones in 2017, Apple is expected to bring dual camera feature to iPhone 7.

The iPhone 7 Plus is expected to receive 3D photography support for its dual camera. The Cupertino company is rumored to be working with LG Innotek technology for bringing 3D photography next generation iPhones, BGR reported. Speculations have it that the iPhone 7s models would also feature dual SIM support.
