Kim Yoo Jung is a South Korean actress who starred in the historical drama 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.'

South Korean actress Kim Yoo Jung has been receiving negative comments given her actions during a press conference that were considered rude by many netizens. Recently, Cha Tae Hyun shared his thoughts on the said controversy.

The "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" star is going through a difficult time following the backlash that she received from fans over an alleged rude behavior during an event. She was also diagnosed with severe colds, fatigue and stress-induced shock that sent Kim to the hospital.

The actress was criticized for appearing distracted during the preview screening of the movie "Because I Love You" held on Dec. 20. Many netizens claimed that Kim acted discourteously when she casually leaned on one leg as she stood on stage and even looked at her nails while some of her co-stars addressed the event attendees.

However, Cha expressed his support for his co-star during a recent Naver V Live broadcast, as cited by Korean news outlet Chosun. The "2 Days 1 Night" actor mentioned that some critics may have found the young actress' on-stage actions impolite but Kim was already feeling sickly at that time given an allergic reaction to an antibiotic.

Cha highlighted how the actress has had to forego drinking the cold medicine and suffered through the said illness given her allergic reaction. He then asked Kim's loyal fans to cheer her on as she tries to recover from her poor health condition.

Meanwhile, Kim was rushed to the hospital after the special screening for "Because I Love You." The young star was first hospitalized on Dec. 21 due to fatigue but was soon released.

Kim was again hospitalized on Dec. 26 due to stress-induced shock. A representative from the actress' agency, Sidus HQ, told local reporters that they immediately rushed the young star to the hospital after they noticed that she was not feeling well. Kim's year-end calendar has been cleared and Sidus HQ has yet to schedule the actress' future appearances, Korea Herald quoted the representative as saying.

Kim and Cha's comedy film "Because I Love You" will be released on Jan. 4, 2017 in South Korea. Watch the movie's trailer below:
