'Mega Man Mobile' is a video game developed and published by Capcom.

The return of the 8-bits seem to be on the rise as Japanese game maker, Capcom made it known that they will be re-releasing several "Mega Man" games in early 2017. Recent reports also suggest that the titles will be made available for both Android and iOS devices as it will be introduced to the new generation of gamers.

The game developer stated that they will be releasing the first six "Mega Man" games that were originally rolled out almost three decades ago. Capcom made it clear though that the games will not be the "Legacy Collection" that was shelled out on all major gaming platforms in August 2015, Eurogamer reported.

Moreover, Capcom Mobile tweeted such news and even gave a link on how to pre-register for future news and updates regarding the inbound mobile titles. Nevertheless, it is yet to be known if the upcoming games will be visually tweaked or will come with other add-ons by the time they go full throttle.

In the interim, such announcement piqued some game pundits' interest considering how Capcom snubbed past endeavors to develop new "Mega Man" games. Such move by the company annoyed fans and some developers alike that resulted in one of the game's former producers to devise a game monikered as "Mighty No. 9," according to Android Police. However, the crowd-funded title received average reviews from gamers while others have panned the game adding that the game failed to live up the hype prior to its release.

It was also mentioned that "Mega Man 1-6" will have a price tag of $2 per game which is quite generous as compared to other releases from equally famed developers. It can be recalled that the recently released "Super Mario Run" of Nintendo was initially offered at $10 for its full version when it came out on Dec. 15 for the iOS.
