Philippine's drug war initiated by President Rodrigo Duterte

A shocking CCTV footage captured the terrifying face of actual chase between an alleged drug pusher and police in the Philippines showing one of the faces of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's drug war.

On Dec. 22, around 10pm, the video showed the chase between the suspect, which can be seen wearing a white T-shirt, being followed by a man wearing a jacket and a cap. They were also followed by police riding a motorcycle.

After they passed, a bystander suddenly collapsed. Norberto Nuque, a driver, was struck by a stray bullet on his leg. It is still unknown who accidentally shot the victim, whether it is the suspect or the police.

Meanwhile, the suspect, Joshua Ramos, was shot on his shoulder and was later arrested. The drug suspect and the victim are treated at the Tondo General Hospital.

According to the police, the target of the operation is Joshua's brother, Justin Ramos, 18, and his live-in partner, 16. The two were arrested who pointed the whereabouts of their brother, Joshua. The police planned a follow-up operation on Laong Nasa Street where the incident happened.

The three who were on the drug watchlist of the Manila police will be charged for violating R.A. 9165.
