A new PlayStation VR is displayed at Sony Square NYC on October 13, 2016 in New York City.

The PlayStation VR headset is a great addition to the PlayStation 4 console system for gamers who own it. Here are the steps on how to setup the whole PSVR kit with the TV, the console system, and the PlayStation Camera.

First, the user should turn off the TV and the PS4 console, and look for the Processor Unit of the PSVR kit, according to IGN. Slide the cover of the Processor Unit until the ports are visible and look for the HDMI port. Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the back of the PS4 and then insert the other end into the HDMI PS4 input on the back of the Processor Unit.

The owner can now connect the PSVR Processor Unit HDMI cable to the TV. Find the included USB cable in the package of the kit and plug the small end of that cable into the Processor Unit. They should plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB port on the PS4.

Next is to find the included AC power unit inside the package and insert the power cable into the Processor Unit. Plug the other end of the AC adapter into a power outlet of the building.

Look for the VR Headset Connection Cable and plug that into the front of the Processor Unit. Make sure that the symbols on the cable and the Processor Unit match to get the correct orientation.

Get the VR Headset and plug it into the other end of the Connection Cable. Make sure that the symbols also match to have a correct orientation. Owners can now power on the TV, power on the PS4, and then press the PlayStation VR power button on the Inline Remote.

To configure the play area of the PS VR, owners should check that the play space has a measurement of approximately 10 feet by 10 feet total. The user in VR should be sitting about 5 feet in front of the PS Camera and the TV. Make sure that the play area should be clear of all obstacles before playing with the headset.

The PS VR can be bought as the PS VR Core Headset or as the PS VR Launch Bundle, according to the official website of PlayStation. The PS VR Core Headset can be bought for $399.99, while the PS VR Launch Bundle can be bought for $499.99.
