A Mexican birthday party of a girl, who celebrated her Quinceañeras or 15th birthday on Dec. 26, Monday, had gone viral. An unexpected invitation of the girl's father that reached more than a million of people across Mexico and the United States resulted in one fatality and one person injured.

Cresencio Ibarra, the father of the 15-year-old Rubi Ibarra Garcia, made a video to invite their friends and relatives on his daughter's quinceañera. Unfortunately, instead of sharing the Mexican birthday party invitation to Crescencio and Anaelda's 200 friends on Facebook, it was posted in public, Tech Times reported. It was the reason why Rubi's 15th birthday party turned into a big, unexpected mess that led to tragedies.

In the video, Cresencio promised a traditional amateur horse race or chiva, where a prize of more than 10,000 pesos ($400) will be awarded for the grand winner. Before his video ends, he reminded that everyone is cordially invited to his daughter's quinceañera.

During the horse race that was promised in the Mexican birthday party invitation, one attendee named Félix Peña was ran over by his own horse. He was proclaimed dead on the way to the hospital. Another man was injured and suffered a broken leg when he got in the way of the racing horses.

Rubi's 15th birthday party became an internet sensation and a huge celebration after an unexpected number of people attended her birthday, according to The Guardian. Different personalities were seen in Rubi's celebration, including popular politicians and local celebrities. She even received a brand new 2016 Chevrolet Spark from one mayor as a gift.

Local businesses offered free internet in the area. A Mexican airline Interjet took advantage of the buzz created by the Mexican birthday party by offering passengers a 30 percent discount on flights to San Luis Potosi.

Moreover, Rubi got an offer to do a cameo role on the soap opera "The Rose of Guadalupe." A song for her was composed by a Mexican singer Luis Antonio López titled "El Mimoso." Mexican actor Gael García Bernal imitated the video invitation for Rubi's quinceañera.

Amidst the Mexican birthday party, locals and neighbors took the happening as an opportunity so other people could see the unemployment and poor condition in their place. Some people believe that it was also an example of how the social media can blow the real scenario in people's lives.
