Samsung is known for their smartphones and UHD OLED television and monitors but they also have other products. The South Korean tech giant has recently announced their own sound bar with a built-in subwoofer to soothe the bass enthusiast and audiophiles.
The actual specs and features of the new Samsung H7 sound bar has not been disclosed as the product will still be demoed by Samsung at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2017 to be held in Las Vegas. Most sound bars do not have that much of a bass output because there is no subwoofer available. However, Samsung wants to be different with their own sound bar that can deliver low-hitting notes.
One disappointing fact is that the new Samsung sound bar will not have the Dolby Atmos capabilities, CNET reported. Dolby Atmos is a sound technology present in digital cinemas across the world and some products could emulate the tech with specialized hardware.
The new sound bar is aimed at users who already own large TVs and such. It can be used in conjunction with their UHD televisions if the user does not have a home theatre setup in their residence.
Samsung's new H7 sound bar will support up to 32-bit Hi-Fi output with bass frequencies reaching as low as 35Hz, Ubergizmo reported. The 35Hz frequency is low enough for casual users but audiophiles and bassheads might not appreciate it at all considering that subwoofers can go lower than that to deliver heart-thumping rhythms.
There are some neat technologies that will help the H7 sound bar be better than the rest. Samsung has their own wide-band tweeter and distortion cancelling tech to deliver sounds as clear as possible when used. It can also be controlled using the Smart Remote Control which makes it easier for those who have a Samsung setup at home. Samsung will reveal the H7 sound bar at the upcoming CES 2017.
