Kojima Productions Co., Ltd. is a Japanese video game development studio founded in 2005 by video game designer Hideo Kojima.

Kojima Productions is now selling a half-scale statue of the company mascot Ludens. However, it has pretty heavy price tag at $2,000.

According to Game Rant, the Kojima Productions mascot, Ludens or occasionally known as Ludence, has been under the scrutiny of various rumors due to the fact that it might reveal some teasers on its own. As such, it can be the primary reason why a lot of fans are trying to get statue of its likeness.

Furthermore, while the enigmatic character's body and name was revealed last year, a lot of players believe that the character will have more secrets lurking underneath its surface. Especially the fact that Luden's extra-vehicular (EVA) creative suit is very detailed, and thus exudes significance. This is despite the fact that the character does not have any direct ties to the upcoming "Death Stranding" game.

The character, however, appears in the "Kojima Productions logo movie," which certainly raises more curiosity about the cost of the statue. After all, the current excitement is centered around "Death Stranding," which is still in its infant stages of development, as it only starts its full-swing development phase this year.

The statue is going to be manufactured by the Prime 1 Studio, and it will only make 150 units. The statue will will be available through Sideshow Toy, which will be 63 inches tall and fully adorned with LED lights on the helmet--certainly a luxury item even for die-hard video game fans. The Ludens statue will be shipped sometime in early 2018.

Thankfully, for the fans who want to purchase the statue but cannot deliver a full-on $2,000 payment immediately, the seller offers an option. The buyers can instead pay in monthly installments of $225, but according to Game Spot, the order limit per person is just one statue.
