Days after being accused of copying BIGBANG member Taeyang's track "Eyes, Nose, Lips," the Russian artist named Albina has denied allegations that her song was ripped off. She came under fire last week after fans came across the MV of her song "I Love You," and found that it had a striking resemblance to the K-Pop idol's hit 2014 ballad.

When asked about the plagiarism accusations during a recent interview with a Russian media outlet, Albina admitted to reading some of the comments left behind by BIGBANG fans. The Russian artist also pointed out that she wrote the song on her own and refused to accept that it is similar to Taeyang's single.

"Those songs aren't similar to me," All Kpop quoted her as saying in the interview. "And I found a new artist, I never knew this artist." She also added that if the singer chooses to take legal action, it will be up to the courts to decide whether or not both songs are identical.

Albina released the MV of "I Love You" via YouTube on Dec. 28, 2016 and in the description of the upload, the artist claimed that she was the creator of the music and the lyrics of the track. However, BIGBANG fans expressed their anger over Albina's alleged copying of "Eyes, Nose, Lips" and gave the video more than 10,000 dislikes on the video-sharing website.

YG Entertainment later filed a copyright claim on YouTube, after which Albina's music video was taken down by the website. However, the Russian artist uploaded the video on a Russian video-streaming service called Rutube.

"Eyes, Nose, Lips" was Taeyang's first single from his second solo album "Rise." The track claimed the top spot on Korean music charts for several weeks and even won him the Best Male Artist award, Song of the Year and Best Vocal Performance - Male in 2014, according to Korea Portal.
