It is a dependable fact that BIGBANG is one of today's top Kpop idols across the globe. Just recently, the five-member boy band has landed on Forbes' "30 Under 30" list of the most influential musicians in the world.

On Jan. 03, Tuesday, the American business magazine Forbes revealed its official list of the top earning celebrities under the age of 30. The list includes many of the songwriters, singers, managers and entrepreneurs who were transforming the modern music business.

BIGBANG is among the artists included in the said "30 Under 30" music list. With more than $44 million profit over the past year, the boy band placed 23rd, edging out English singer Elton John, who placed 24th ($42 million) and rapper Dr. Dre and Katy Perry, both at No. 25 with $41 million.

In 2016, BIGBANG placed 54th on Forbes' "Celebrity 100" list for earning more than the American pop rock band Maroon 5. The former's pretax profit remained at $44 million in 2015, which is more than the $33.5 million racked up by the latter.

"We made more than Maroon 5?" Forbes quoted BIGBANG's frontman G-Dragon as saying, as cited by All Kpop. "Did not know that. My mom is in charge of my earnings."

Meanwhile, BIGBANG is scheduled to hold a two-day concert series on Jan. 07-08 in Gocheok Sky Dome. Dubbed "BIGBANG10 The Concert 0.to.10 Final," the upcoming event will most likely be their last appearance as a group since T.O.P is slated to fulfill his two-year military service starting Feb. 9.

T.O.P, who is the first among the five members to enter the military, will finish all of his professional obligations first before the conscription date. He will be followed by Taeyang and G-Dragon in 2017, while Daesung and Seungri will most likely enlist in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
