The 'Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii U and Nintendo Switch.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" release date has long been overdue. However, the wait may be over for gaming enthusiasts, as Nintendo may already have a release period of the "Zelda" game this year.

"Zelda" fans quite had a roller coaster ride concerning the release of the much awaited "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." The said Nintendo game has been pushed further since its development in 2013, and its gameplay revelation in 2014.

The original plan of 2015 release was then pushed to 2016, which encountered another delay. Up to the end of 2016, gamers are still waiting for the release of "Zelda," and it seems like this year might be the appropriate period for the game release.

According to a recent issue of CoroCoro Comic, "Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is slated for release this spring. The specific month would likely be in March, according to Forbes. The said publication views the revealed information as something more credible; it lends credence to the launch date of Nintendo's gaming platform, the Nintendo Switch.

That being said, "Zelda: Breath of the Wild" enthusiasts should expect an improved gaming experience with the Nintendo Switch platform. The said platform will offer gamers an NVIDIA Tegra processor with an NVIDIA GPU, a built-in high-definition display, detachable Joy-Con controllers, and the Nintendo Switch Dock for television connection, according to Anime News Network.

The same website also mentioned the four possible ways that "Zelda: Breath of the Wild" gamers may enjoy the upcoming game. Gamers could choose to hold a detached Joy-Con controller in each hand or they could use the two controllers available when they are attached directly to the main Nintendo Switch device.

Moreover, apart from the traditional gaming methods, Switch users wanting to enjoy the latest Zelda game with other people could also split the two controllers with a second player. Lastly, gamers may also choose to attach the controllers to a Joy-Con Grip accessory for personalized use.
