Following the success of their Mars Orbiter Mission, Indian Space Research Organization, or ISRO already has another target planets in mind. ISRO is eyeing another interplanetary missions that may commence years from now.

After a momentous event concerning India's latest space mission, another planet may soon be explored by India almost two years from now. According to reports, India's agency has been eyeing the gas giant Jupiter and the neighboring Venus.

"We are looking at other planets that we can explore. So, two of them are Jupiter and Venus. The mission analysis is on what type of satellite we are supposed to build and what type of rocket we need. Studies are going on and it may take few years from now to have a concrete plan," Tribune India quoted ISRO Associate Director M Nageswara Rao as saying.

Apart from the planned Jupiter and Venus exploration, ISRO also revealed that a follow-up Mars mission is already being planned. The India's space agency will be sending another mission to Mars, which would involve a lander and a rover. Thus, suggesting a much closer encounter with the surface of the Red Planet.

The aforementioned exploration of India in the outer space is not something new among Asian countries. It can be remembered that China also expressed their interest in space exploration and extra-terrestrial life forms.

A testament to China's growing dominance when it comes to space mission is their plan to explore the dark side of the moon. In a white paper titled "China's Space Activities in 2016," the Red Dragon indicated to accelerate the development of their space industry. Thus, aiming to push a 2018 space probe on the far side of the moon, according to Science Alert.

In view of the given facts, it cannot be denied that Asian countries like India or China may soon be a rival of United States' NASA. In terms of growth, the said countries have showcased an exponential increase, in terms of technology and experience.
