You do not need a gym subscription to be fit and healthy for this year, but you can start with committing at least 10 minutes of your time every day for simple workouts like brisk walking. You can also perform simple routines at home that is just right to stretch your bones and muscles and make you sweat a little.

Sleep earlier on Tuesdays

Drink coffee before you hit the gym

Caffeine has the ability to block the substance in the brain that makes you feel tired, so before you do your workout, getting a cup of coffee will sound like a good idea. It is best if you have it 20 minutes before your session.

Take the stairs

While taking the stairs is an obvious way to exercise, it also offers a few surprising mental benefits. According to a Canadian research, taking the stairs can make your brain bigger and more youthful, so the next time you are going to work, ditch the elevators and take the stairs instead.
