Coolpad Conjr (pronounced as "Conjure") is the company's latest iteration in its series of low-range smartphones that sports a 5-inch 720p IPS LCD touchscreen display, with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels, NDTV reported.

Its front panel is covered with edge-to-edge glass, embedded with capacitive navigation buttons below the 5-inch screen, allowing room for screen's content space. A single-piece volume button is located in the left edge, while its power button sits on the phone's right edge. The device includes a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top and a microUSB 2.0 port on the bottom.

In its internal chassis, the Conjr is powered by 1GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735CP processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM, AnandTech reported. Its Mali-T720MP2 GPU is suited for simple 2D games and workflow. The phone's internal memory covers a 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card.

In its optics department, the Coolpad Conjr is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies, with a dedicated LED flash. The Coolpad Conjr's operating system runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, while its battery capacity packs a 2500mAh non-removable battery.

The phone also integrates the latest security suite included in most smartphones nowadays, a fingerprint reader. However, its security feature supports for up to five different fingerprints that could be beneficial for family use.

The Coolpad Conjr is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.

In addition, the device will offer support on US GSM wireless networks like AT&T, T-Mobile and US Cellular, but unfortunately not on Verizon and Sprint.

Coolpad has not release an official price tag for the Conjr smartphone, although rumors suggest that the device will be available in either gold or gray colors and will be pegged at a cost less than USD$200.
