The Justice League live-action movie will be directed by Zack Snyder and it stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller.

Warner Bros. has released a new high-resolution image of the members of the Justice League from the upcoming "Justice League" movie. The photo shows five of the presumed six members of the team together for the first time.

In the morning of Jan. 8, a low-resolution version of the image made the rounds online but no one could tell where it came from.  It turned out that the photo was taken from the print version of the USA Today newspaper, Comicbook reported.

A high-resolution version of the photo courtesy of the USA Today website surfaced afterwards, depicting Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Ezra Miller as Flash, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Apparently, Aquaman is going to be one with the league in the upcoming movie. In the official "Justice League" trailer, the character seems to be a nemesis to Bruce Wayne and is reluctant to join the league.

While the new image does not reveal any detail as to the plot of the film aside from the fact that Aquaman is finally working with the Justice League, it offers a glimpse of the superheroes' costumes. The photo shows Batman wearing his new tactical Batsuit with some Bat-shades on. Wonder Woman, on the other hand, appears to be in her "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" gear, with sword and shield in hand.

Meanwhile, Aquaman is completely armored and is wielding his trident. The photo also offers a completed CGI-shot of Cyborg and Flash in his costume chock-full of plates and cords.

"Justice League" also features Henry Cavill as Superman but the character is notably absent from the image. This does not come as a surprise for fans, considering the ending of "Batman v Superman," where he was apparently killed off. However, the Man of Steel is expected to return at some point in the "Justice League" movie. Other cast members include Amber Heard as Mera, JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf.

Directed by Zack Snyder, "Justice League" is expected to hit theaters on Nov. 16. Before that, a "Wonder Woman" standalone film will be released on June 2.
