Exciting and creepy things are in store for avid "The Sims 4" gamers this January. Recently, Electronic Arts unveiled its upcoming DLC for the said game titled "The Sims 4: Vampires."
Vampire Sims will soon appear in Electronic Arts' popular life simulation game. With the upcoming release of "The Sims: Vampires" game pack, gamers can opt to continue their Sim character's life as an immortal creature of the night or live amongst the said supernatural beings.
Similar to regular Sims, Vampire Sims have their own needs and motives. However, these are mostly focused on getting much-needed sleep, gaining supernatural powers and ingesting enough Plasma to help them survive, according to an announcement posted on the official "The Sims" website.
Game developers have even added two different vampire forms, specifically the Dark and Regular form. It appears that a Vampire Sim can have either one of the two forms or both which will allow game characters to tap into their dark side to perform special moves.
Meanwhile, some of the vampire powers include turning a normal Sim into a Vampire Sim, super speed, hypnotism and more. However, the said supernatural beings also have weaknesses such as sensitivity to sunlight and others.
Apart from the vampire powers and forms, the upcoming "The Sims 4" game pack will also add a new destination world to the gaming title. Named "Forgotten Hollow," the new world is a perfect place for vampires given its longer night-time period and creepy vibe.
The new world consists of a block that contains five playable lots and a plaza area with decorations to honor the "Forgotten Hollow" founder, iconic vampire Vlad. Game designers have also incorporated an old-centuries feel to the new in-game location, as well as new lot traits.
In other news, avid "The Sims 4" gamers can also look forward to another stuff pack that is slated for release in spring. In the game's latest quarterly teaser video, posted on the fansite SimsVIP, snippets of a bowling-themed DLC was unveiled.
"The Sims 4: Vampires" game pack will be released on Jan. 24, Tuesday for PC. Watch the trailer below:
