Electronic Arts' life simulation game "The Sims 4" may soon gain a new type of character to be introduced in an upcoming DLC. Latest spoiler news teased of a new game pack that may potentially add vampires and vampire abilities to the game.
Avid "The Sims 4" fans have seen a variety of characters in Electronic Arts' life simulation game that included clowns, butlers, aliens and more. However, an upcoming game pack may add a supernatural being to the game namely vampires.
Game files hidden in a recent "The Sims 4" patch included interesting information about the said game character. Released on Dec. 1, the game patch contained several codes about vampire life stages, supernatural powers and occult perks, according to the fan community Sims VIP.
Similar to the in-game perks introduced in earlier "The Sims 4" DLCs, two separate perk systems will be added for vampires. With the mythical creatures' powers, the game character will also have its own Occult Powers panel that may be accessed from the game's Needs panel.
Other details uncovered by the fansite Sims Community indicated of a potential new world to be introduced in the upcoming game pack. Similar to "The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat," the new game pack may add a separate world with a potential size comparable to Granite Falls.
Gamers may soon have the chance to customize the appearance of vampire characters in "The Sims 4." Several game codes pointed to the addition of Create-A-Sim (CAS) items for vampires such as vampire teeth, earrings and other CAS details, as indicated in the same report.
Moreover, a normal Sim and vampire Sim can also have a baby who will inherit half of its vampire parent's supernatural abilities. Similar to part-alien babies, part-vampire babies may potentially get 50 percent of its parent's occult skin coloring.
At this time, it is still unclear if a Vampire-themed game pack will be released. Neither Electronic Arts nor Maxis or The Sims Studio have yet to comment on the news.
