Now that Finnish tech firm HMD Global confirmed Nokia's comeback through the announcement of the mid-ranged Nokia 6 handset, reports are getting rife that another phone from the said brand has been spotted at the 2017 CES. An alleged Nokia 8 is said to have been featured at a chipmaker's booth on the said event and has been one of the hot topics in the mobile world as of late.

Qualcomm is one of the notable participants at the 2017 CES as it showcased their latest system-on-chip - the Snapdragon 835. Spotted in the said booth is the handset that carries the processor claimed to be the yet to be announced Nokia 8, according to Gadgets 360.

Moreover, it is believed that the handset will be launched at the Mobile World Congress in February to further imply Nokia's return in the mobile arena. Reports also suggest that the phone will come in two iterations with varying SoCs in which the render carrying the Snapdragon 835 will be deemed the top brass make.

Such news has reached the American chipmaker. When asked by Nokia Mob about the device, Qualcomm responded via email and doused such reports stating that it is inaccurate explaining that they do not disclose the make and model of the handsets that carry their chips since those were just reference devices

However, the device that was on display at Qualcomm's booth is said to bear the Nokia branding and is initially dubbed as Supreme. Apart from this, the high-end version of the phone is believed to sport a 24-megapixel rear shooter and claims to have the best electronic image stabilization feature to be incorporated in a smartphone.

Other features of the Nokia 8/Supreme are yet to be known. Long-time fans of Nokia will just have to wait for the 2017 MWC in which Nokia will be a part of. In the meantime, watch a couple of videos of the alleged Nokia 8 handset spotted at CES 2017:
