'Deadpool' is a 2016 American superhero comedy film directed by Tim Miller, produced by Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner, and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

The latest details for "Deadpool 2" will feature three characters returning and how will the sequel set-up the "X-Force" film.

Three characters from the first" Deadpool" movie have been confirmed to return to the sequel as X-Men members Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) and NegasonicTeenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and taxi driver Dopinder (Karan Soni) are back to assist Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) in his latest adventure.

Screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick told Collider that both Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead will make "atleast an appearance". As for Dopinder, Wernick stated in a seperate interview that he loved the character and he and Deadpool will have an even more interesting interaction during the sequel.

Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead assisted Deadpool against Ajax (Ed Skrein) and Angel Dust (Gina Carano) and saving his love interest Vanessa (Morena Baccarin). Dopinder was featured in the early parts of the film as the reluctant cab driver who assist Deadpool in giving him a free ride after giving the latter love advice.

In other news, "Deadpool 2' could likely set up "X-Force" film as the sequel will feature the mutant soldier from the future, Cable.

Wernick and Rhett stated in an interview that they have a responsibility to handle "X-Force" film and will not disappoint the comic book fans in making "Deadpool 2" in order to set up other films in the "X-Men" franchise, ComicBook reported.

The news will likely ease some fans minds, especially in conjunction with the assurance that they plan to build a faithful, though streamlined approach to Cable’s backstory. The screenwriters seem to understand the pitfalls associated with building a complex stories for their heroes to play in, and are keen to learn from the mistakes of others.

"Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds stated in an interview that he and the rest of the producers will likely work on the "X-Force" spin-off as he considers it a priority and wants the same support that he had in making "Deadpool".

The X-Force team is a sub-group of the X-Men, who do missions that main team are reluctant to do and are willing to cross the line to protect the world. Cable is the founder of the team and had several members such as Wolverine, X-23, Warpath, Fantomex, Domino and even Deadpool.

"Deadpool 2" is set to launch in cinemas on Jan. 12, 2018.
