Miss A, stylized as miss A, is a South Korean-Chinese girl group based in South Korea formed by JYP Entertainment in 2010.

After the devastating disbandment of 2NE1 and 4Minute last year, JYP's girl groups Wonder Girls and Miss A may be up for disbandment this year.

The contracts of the girls are up for expiration this year and JYP is reportedly hesitant in renewing the contracts of the two girl groups due to poor album sales and lack of appearances. It is easy to admit that the girl groups have past their prime and their popularity went down.

The only statement that can be obtained from JYP is that the contracts of the two groups are still up for discussion. Some of the members of the two aforementioned girl groups have bowed out of their respective groups like Jia from Miss A and Sun-ye and So-hee from Wonder Girls. Since the departure of the members, the fates of the groups' future promotion hang in limbo.

Rumor has it that some of the girls are already seeking opportunities in other entertainment agencies and may veer away from being an idol, but they could also seek acting and going solo.

Meanwhile, Suzy could be the only member of Miss A that will stay in the company and JYP Entertainment is reportedly paving the way for Suzy's stardom following her imminent solo debut.

Miss A's Suzy could be the next hottest solo acts following Tae-yeon as she will drop a single tomorrow. A year after dropping "Dream" with EXO's Baekhyun, Suzy will now go solo. The singer has riped and will go on stage without the support of other Miss A members. The solo release is titled "Yes? No?" and not much information is given except for the dates of Jan. 17 and Jan. 24, according to All Kpop.

JYP release three new video teasers of Suzy's solo act. It only makes sense that Suzy will have a solo release as the JYP CEO revealed that female idol was the second biggest money-maker in the entire company behind 2PM.
