Crystal Palace has last tasted victory early last month in a 3-0 crushing of Southampton also at their home field of Selhurst Park. The Eagles are coming off a deflating 0-3 loss to middling squad West Ham United on the road at the London Stadium last Saturday, as per Goal.

Three different West Ham players, namely Sofiane Feghouli, Andy Carroll, and Manuel Lanzini, netted a goal each in the 68th, 79th, and 86th minutes respectively to complete the hosts' three-goal haul.

It was the third consecutive defeat and the second shutout loss in the last three rounds for head coach Sam Allardyce's squad.

Meanwhile, Everton pulled off a stunning 4-0 victory over powerhouse team Manchester City at their home ground of Goodison Park last Sunday, SkySports reported.

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku broke the game's deadlock for the Toffees in the 34th minute, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead at the half.

Lukaku's compatriot, Kevin Mirallas, then doubled Everton's lead two minutes after the restart before midfielder Tom Davies made it a 3-0 count in the 79th minute.

Teenage winger Ademola Lookman sealed the win with a goal in stoppage to complete the four-goal masterpiece of head coach Ronald Koeman's side.
