Xiaomi Mi6 specs, price point, and release date continue to be searched online. One of the latest additions to the list of information available is the report of a Mi6 third variant equipped with MediaTek Helio X30 processor set as a cheaper option.

The upcoming flagship of Xiaomi has been anticipated to incorporate the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. However, apart from the premium versions of Mi6, Xiaomi will offer a lesser version of the said smartphone having a MediaTek Helio X30 chipset, according to The Android Soul.

This latest report of another variant of Mi6 will give smartphone enthusiasts more options. For apart from the Helio X30 variant, consumers may likewise choose between one variant that would feature a flat display and another variant that would have a dual-edge display.

Although there are still no other details concerning the third variant of Mi6, it is expected that almost similar features will be incorporated into the low-end version of the said smartphone. The upcoming Mi6 will have gorilla glass 4 to make it shockproof and dust proof, according to Xiaomi Mi6

If rumors are true, the upcoming variant may likewise have the speculated Retina scanner in place of fingerprint locks and 4000 mAh battery which last for hours. For its body, it is expected that a metal finish will also be incorporated.

As for its release dates, current reports suggested that March this year will also be the release date of the Mi6 Helio X30 variant. This would be in consonance with the recently announced release date of the two high-end variants of the said smartphone.

As for its price point, it was reported that Xiaomi may sell the Helio X30 variant for 1,999 Yuan or roughly $290. Consequently, the high-end options for Xiaomi Mi6 having a flat display and Snapdragon 835 could be sold at 2,499 Yuan, while the one with the edge display will reportedly be priced at around 2,999 Yuan or roughly $435.
