WWE Rumors: Did John Cena inadvertently created the Bray Wyatt character?

John Cena and Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt is one of the best characters in the WWE in the past decade. He was created by the former Husky Harris in NXT but Ryback recently hinted that the "Bray Wyatt" character was inadvertently caused by John Cena.

The former WWE superstar is making headlines as of late because of his comments regarding Cena. He has called out the face of the WWE in his Conversations With The Big Guy podcast. He described the 15-time WWE world champion as "poison" to the wrestling industry in last week's episode.

In a follow up on his comments, Ryback dropped the ball on Cena once again as he called him selfish. However, "The Big Guy" noted that he has no problems about Cena's work ethic and talent but he really does not like the real-life Cena.

One of the Cena stories revealed by Ryback on his recent show involved an unnamed young WWE superstar. He said that Cena got a current superstar back to NXT for accidentally poking him in the year. Nevertheless, Ryback is happy with the young star because he reinvented himself down at developmental.

"I remember a time when I was out injured with the ankle injury. There was a guy who poked him in the eye accidentally, which was John's fault most likely, and he had the guy sent back down to developmental and almost ended his career," Ryback said.

"But that guy f***ing rose above and made the most of it and reinvented himself and is the man. He's legitimately one of the few guys you can say is the man up there," he added.

Although Ryback did not name the young superstar, it is pretty obvious that he was talking about Bray Wyatt, per The Inquisitr. Wyatt was originally known as Husky Harris, who was a member of the Nexus back in 2010.

However, Harris was sent down to NXT in 2011 wherein he reinvented himself and became Bray Wyatt. Of course, it is still purely speculative but all the signs are there. It is a known fact that Cena buried the Nexus during their feud in 2010.

These all happened in the past with Cena now slowly transitioning into a part-time superstar. On the other hand, Wyatt has recovered the momentum he lost last year and he is expected to become a main event player once again this year.
