K-Pop group BIGBANG member Taeyang arrives at the Chanel 2015/16 Cruise Collection show on May 4, 2015 in Seoul, South Korea.

Traveling to a different country can be tricky as you will meet countless of different people. Contrary to his life in South Korea where he is usually surrounded by security personnel to protect him, Taeyang was able to freely bask in the sights and sounds of Europe during a recent trip. However, he had a most unusual encounter with a stranger who's now his BFF.

Taeyang took some free time off his busy schedule by visiting Milan, Italy. There he was approached by a stranger who complimented him about his unique hairstyle. According to Koreaboo, the man then offered to give Taeyang a handmade bracelet to symbolize their new friendship. Taeyang thought the bracelet would be given as a gift and free of charge, but the man charged Taeyang 5 euros for the item.

Instead of reacting negatively towards the incident, Taeyang took it all in stride and charged it to experience. He even joked that he agreed to pay for the bracelet in order to preserve his friendship with that stranger. The ploy is common among European street vendors and the targets are often unsuspecting tourists.

Meanwhile, there have been several reports that Taeyang would make a solo comeback this year after G-Dragon makes his. A news outlet reported that Taeyang has been composing new music for his upcoming solo album and is even planning to stage a solo concernt.

In a statement, YG Entertainment clarified that there are still no definite plans for Taeyang's solo comeback. "A definite schedule has not yet been determined. He's currently preparing with the goal of making a comeback sometime in the first half of the year," Soompi quoted YG Entertainment.

If a new Taeyang solo album 2017 does push through, this will be the singer's fourth solo effort. His first solo album was "Hot" in 2008, followed by "Solar" in 2010 and "Rise" in 2014. His song, "Eyes, Nose, Lips," recently stirred a controversy after a Russian singer named Albina was accused of plagiarizing Taeyang's song. Netizens claimed that Albin's song, "I Love You," has the same melody and instrument as that of Taeyang's "Eyes, Nose, Lips."
