President and CEO of Sony Mobile COmmunication Hiroki Totoki presents the new Sony Xperia X device on the opening day of the World Mobile Congress.

Rumors for the Xperia XA 2017 specs are steadily increasing. Recently, Sony released a new Concept build for the smartphone, which includes the much-awaited Night Light feature.

The Concept for Android program from Sony is still active especially for their flagship Xperia X smartphone. Previous updates have been large but the recently launched version still has some noticeable improvements for the user's experience.

Sony Xperia X 2016 models already have the Android 7.1.1 Nougat version about a month ago, but the company is releasing a minor update again. The new Xperia X Concept for Android update includes the Night Light feature plus January security patches, GSM Arena has learned.

Night Light places a blue light filter to help the user fall asleep easier in the evening. There have been several studies that claim people who are exposed to blue light, most commonly from smartphones and computers, have trouble with their sleeping patterns. The feature is increasingly becoming common in smartphones as people tend to always check their social media accounts every night.

Xperia X users can use the new Night Light feature automatically or manually through the settings. The new update version is Concept build N4F2619.

Sony has not announced their new line of smartphones yet but speculations are already surfacing. The Sony Xperia XA specs could include 3GB RAM and a new MediaTek processor with a 720p screen, according to Digital Trends.

Meanwhile, the leaked Xperia X 2017 specs from the AnTuTu benchmark include a FHD screen with the MediaTek Helio P20 SoC. In terms of storage, it will reportedly have 4GB RAM and 64GB for the onboard capacity. Of course it is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Sony may reveal their new line of Xperia X and Xperia XA 2017 models in the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. The new smartphones are expected to take on the Galaxy S8 and the LG G6.
