"Dragon Ball Super Universe Survival Arc" release has been highly anticipated. Along with such anticipation are rumors and previews of the upcoming "Dragon Ball" episodes, including the participation of familiar "Cell Saga" characters.
The "Cell Saga," which includes the chronicles from "Imperfect Cell, Perfect Cell, and the Cell Games," has introduced strong characters that are able to stand against Super Saiyan mode. Now that the safety of Universe 7 is being challenged, most of the familiar characters who fought Cell before and during the Cell tournament will have to step up once more and win the martial arts tournament between universes.
There are many familiar characters that would be seen in the upcoming 'Universal Survival' arc. Two of the most exciting characters that fans have been waiting to see are Android 18 and Android 17. The participation of both Androids was limited in the past episodes of "Dragon Ball," despite their fearsome power and ability to improve further.
However, in the upcoming episodes of the "Universal Survival Arc" more would be showcased from both characters. Android 17 will be coming out from hiatus as park ranger and father of several children, according to Comic Book. Moreover, Android 18, who had minor roles in the past, will be fighting for Universe 7 team bringing with her some new moves like a combination attacks.
Apart from the Androids comeback participation, the same website also reported of Kuririn having a role in the said universal tournament. Based on reports, the stocky warrior will have to regain his fighting spirit as he will have to train along with Goku under the guidance of Turtle Hermit. Such training involves the reappearance of evil characters like Freeza and Majin Boo in the form of illusions.
Aside from the aforementioned "Dragon Ball" characters, some warriors like Tien Shinhan, Master Roshi, Yamcha, Good Buu, Gohan, and Piccolo are also expected in the upcoming tournament. Meanwhile, excitement has to be curtailed for the "Dragon Ball Super Universe Survival Arc" is still set to begin on February 5, according to Kanzenshuu.
