President Donald Trump takes the oath

On January 19, Presidential daughter Ivanka Trump officially ended speculations of her taking the US First Lady post. President Donald Trump sees wife Melania Trump fit for the position.

After the US Presidential election, a series of controversies came out from public attacking Melania Trump's credibility, including the spread of rumors that the President's eldest daughter will take the First Lady position instead. This is part of the scheme from the Republican detractors to establish discontent of the election result.

Ivanka Trump distanced herself from speculation focusing mainly on the presidential transition for her father. However, in an interview with Good Morning America's Deborah RobertsIvanka finally broke her silence and stood for her family.

"Well, I think it's an inappropriate observation. There's one first lady and she'll do remarkable things," Ivanka said. Ivanka admired First Lady Melania Trump and believes that she will do the First Lady's job perfectly, as noted on the USA Today.

The public's observation is based on Melania's attitude towards the public. She shies away and chooses to be out of the scene, unlike former first ladies. However, the fuel of public discontent is mainly her professional background before and after marrying Donald Trump.

Focusing on a more important pursuit than becoming the First Lady of the United States, Ivanka said, "My father will be president and hopefully I can be there to support him and to support those causes I have cared about my whole professional career." Ivanka sees a rewarding point helping her father and the rest of the presidential transition team even when she resigned as Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, as published on the Daily Star UK.

On her Instagram, Ivanka bid a farewell video for the Big Apple as she moved to Washington D.C. after the Presidential Inauguration last Friday. Such decision is a big step for her own family and advice taken from former Presidential daughter Chelsea Clinton.

Despite the suspension of the rumors, Ivanka Trump will be the first Presidential daughter visible to the public. Meanwhile, her husband Jared Krushner will take a Senior Advisor role in the White House. This clarification is an indication that the Donald Trump administration will be in full force of support from the entire family and the Republican Party.
