Let's take a look at the features and specifications of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Google Pixel.

The Google Pixel smartphone sports a 5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it has a screen to body ratio of 68.88%. The Samsung device comes with on-board storage of 32 GB that is expandable to 256 GB. The Google device comes in two variants - a 128 GB model and a 32 GB model.

The Google Pixel smartphone features a 12.3 MP primary camera with Dual LED flash and an 8 MP front-facing shooter. The Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone sports a 12 MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel secondary camera.

The camera of Google Pixel supports HDR recording, geo-tagging, OIS and autofocus. The Samsung device supports Panorama, HDR recording mode, RAW image capture, autofocus and OIS. The devices feature video calling facilities.

The Google Pixel smartphone has a non-replaceable Li-Ion 2770 mAh battery and the Samsung device has a non-replaceable 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

In addition, the Google device offers support for fast charging.

The Google smartphone comes with Android 7.1 N out of the box. The Samsung smartphone came pre-loaded with Android 6.0 M that is presently being updated to Android 7.0 N.

Both the devices are equipped with barometers, compasses, gyroscopes and accelerometers. The Google Pixel smartphone has haptic feedback and service lights for notifying owners. The Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone allows MP3 files, music ringtones and haptic feedback for notifications.

The Google Pixel smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner that is embedded in the rear on the smartphone. The Galaxy S7 smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner that is embedded in the home button on the smartphone. The Google device has an IP53 rating and the Samsung device is water resistant.

The unlocked Google Pixel costs $749 (128 GB) and $649 (32 GB) and can be bought from its online store. On the other hand, the Samsung device is priced at $669.99.
