Recently, a latest attempt on producing a jailbreak update for the iOS 10 was released by an Italian jailbreak tool developer named Luca Todesco. The Yalu jailbreak tool for iOS 10 and 10.1.1 from Luca Todesco is released in beta form.
After months since the last iOS jailbreak, Apple users can now get an updated version of the Yalu jailbreak tool manufactured by Luda Todesco for the iPhone Special Edition. The announcement went live on Todesco's twitter account, which writes, "Since people seem to not know yet: a fix for TSMC has been posted for both SE and 6s. So support should now be complete for those devices."
Unfortunately, the Yalu jailbreak will be compatible only on 64-bit iOS gadgets with many exceptions. According to YIBADA, the slew of Apple devices available for Yalu jailbreaking tool includes iPhone 6S, iPad Pro, iPhone SE, iPhone 7 and all other iPhone Plus models.
In addition, users of iPhone 5 and 5c, the iPhone 4s, the iPod touch, the 32-bit iPad, and the rest of Apple's 32-bit devices will not be able to utilize the Yalu jailbreak tool for iOS 10 and 10.1.1. However, Todesco expressed his plans on adding support for iPhones 5s and 6 in the future without specifying specific date yet.
In order to enable the jailbreak mode for the compatible iOS devices, users should download and install iOS 10.1.1, download the Yalu jailbreak IPA, connect supported iPhone or iPad to a personal computer using a Lightning/USB cable, MNA has learned.
Users should make a complete backup of data using iTunes then users should disable Passcode/Touch ID on their devices from Settings>Touch ID & Passcode. Another thing to disable is the "Find My iPhone" option on the device from Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone. Launch Cydia Impactor.
On the Cydia Impactor, users should enter an Apple ID that will install the jailbreak app onto the device. After the installation, disconnect the device from computer and head to Settings > General > Profile(s)&Device Management or General>Device Management, then hit Trust and then Trust again on the certificate used to install this jailbreak app.
Because of the limited beta version of Todesco's Yalu jailbreak tool, jailbreak users can look forward to a tool from the Chinese team Pangu.
