Sora is the main protagonist in Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts" franchise alongside Mickey and other Disney characters.

"Kingdom Hearts III" is just one of Square Enix's highly anticipated titles after it was confirmed at 2013's Electronics Entertainment Expo. Almost four years have passed and fans have been wondering ever since as to what is the current low down with the game sequel.

In an interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu as cited by Gaming Bolt, game director Tetsuya Nomura spilled quite an amount of info about the "KH3's" development. He stated that the sequel demands a different approach in developing as compared to its predecessors and added that its game quality won't be compromised.

Nomura then revealed that there are portions of the game that were already done, though there are still some waiting to be audited and then eventually worked on by his team. He further explained that such worlds will take more time to make and went on saying that they are at a point in the game where what they could show is what they cannot.

The game director also highlighted that he already expects fans to fret about it. He continued saying that it is not their penchant to develop a game's different portions all at once. Furthermore, Nomura also pointed out that he and his team will be making tweaks to the entirety of the game's characters and its other elements to shell out a fully polished sequel.

Nomura also stated in the same publication as cited now by Video Games Republic that "KH3" will be having an updated battle system where players can now have the option to select what attack move they want to execute. Moreover, the so-called "Attraction Flow" will be introduced to the game where players will utilize famed Disney park attractions as a special move.

Apart from Sora, Mickey, Goofy, and Donald, new characters from the growing Disney roster are also bound to grace the third installment. Some of the worlds that are confirmed to be part of "KH3" include "Tangled," "Frozen," and "Big Hero 6."

Here are a couple of videos about the latest development in "KH3" and the game's Jump Festa 2016 trailer:
