'Final Fantasy VII Remake' is an upcoming video game remake, developed and published by Square Enix, of the original 1997 PlayStation role-playing video game by Square.

New details for "Final Fantasy 7' remake will feature a possible release date announcement next month and a crossover event with "Mobius Final Fantasy".

Several rumors are making rounds regarding the release date of "Final Fantasy 7" remake for the PlayStation 4 console as Square Enix will be attending the Monaco Anime Game International Conference (MAGIC) on Feb. 18.

Game director Tetsuya Nomura will be in attendance giving game details and possibly the launch date of the game along with "Kingdom Hearts 3", Express reported.

Previous reports revealed that the EB Games website listed a placeholder for "Final Fantasy 7" remake within 2017, even having a Xbox One version of it.

Although Square Enix has not yet made a statement regarding the supposed 2017 launch, it has been hinted that the first episode of "Final Fantasy 7" remake could happen on March as Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase stated in an interview that he wanted "Final Fantasy 7" remake to be similar to "Final Fantasy XIII" and each part of the remake will be a full-scale game as every installment may tell the story from a different perspective.

Nomura added that they are preparing "Final Fantasy 7" remake for a big info reveal, instead of releasing small bits and pieces every now and then. Nomura and Square Enix will tell the gaming fans in person regarding the next updates of the game.

In other news, Square Enix announced that the mobile game "Mobius Final Fantasy" will be heading to the PC platform and it will feature a special crossover event with "Final Fantasy 7" remake. Its PC version will be available for the PC through Steam on Feb. 6.

As for the crossover event, it will happen after "Mobius Final Fantasy's" launch and gamers will have a chance to play as Cloud Strife in the game, GameSpot reported.

Square Enix previously announced that "Final Fantasy 7" remake will have a new director handling the game as Kyohei Suzuki is chosen by the company, believing that having another game director could speed up its development.

Nomura is likely willing to have another director on board the project as long as they are in track of the game's development and release date.

Gamers will expect more "Final Fantasy 7" remake details next month as Square Enix will be attending the Monaco Anime Game International Conferences 2017 (MAGIC) event next month.

"Final Fantasy 7" remake is speculated to launch sometime within 2017 for the PS4 console as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the game.
