As seen in the trailer, Kazuya as a child already knew that his father, Heihachi killed his mother Kazumi as the past trailer revealed that she also inherited the Devil Gene. The story shifts into present time as Heihachi tries to reclaim the Mishima Zaibatsu after Jin Kazama's disappearance but Nina Williams confronts him. Bandai Namco originally intended to launch "Tekken 7" in the early months of 2017, but was delayed as game producer Katsuhiro Harada told Gamespot that they were doing there best to release the game as early as possible, but they saw some titles, which came from their own company and some from others which did not have a very good launch because of a lack of content, or whatever it was, that caused players to bash the product.
Harada and his team wanted to avoid a similar fate, deciding to continue forward with its original content plan, even if that meant the delay the game's release. Harada admitted that its was not an easy decision to delay "Tekken 7" as June was not the intended release date and would prefer around the month of March or April.
Meanwhile, Bandai Namco also announced some pre-order bonuses for "Tekken 7" in the form of the Deluxe Edition and Collector's Edition.
The Deluxe edition will include both the "Tekken 7" game and the newly announced season pass, which will grant gamers access to many new fighters, stages, and costumes throughout three different content updates.
The season pass will also bring a new game mode into the sequel, although what this will actually be has yet to be announced by Bandai Namco. It is currently unknown when the season pass will begin introducing its three waves of content. In addition, the Deluxe Edition also comes with two more playable characters, and 30 metallic costumes for each character.
As for the Collector's Edition, It comes with a bulky 12x18 Kazuya and Heihachi figurine, where the two are posed mid-battle, a steel book, a collector’s box, the game itself, and the "Tekken 7" original game soundtrack.
