The latest details for "Street Fighter 5" will feature more game updates at E3 2017 or San Diego Comic-con, as well as new DLC characters and Arcade mode soon.
It seems that Capcom will be announcing new game details for "Street Fighter 5" this year as game producer Yoshinori Ono told IGN that they will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the "Street Fighter" franchise during this year's San Diego Comic Con event.
When asked about what kind of plans Capcom has in store for the "Street Fighter" franchise, Ono stated that they will more details on "Street Fighter 5" around E3 timing, or during the Comic Con event and added that one or two surprises will be revealed for the game.
Gaming fans who choose to buy "Street Fighter 5's" second season pass will be treated to fan-favorite character Akuma returning to the roster, as well as five other fighters in the following months.
It is unclear as to whether or not the special reveals later in the year will be related to "Street Fighter 5", but with the support for the game expected to last until 2020, there are sure to be a lot of new content coming to sequel sometime in the near future.
Several rumors are making rounds that the possible fighters in "Street Fighter 5" could be C. Viper, Sagat, Sodom, Q, Rose, Abel, Oro and a new character named Eisbahn.
A new batch of possible DLC characters include Helen, Goutetsu, Matthew McCoy, Luke and an unnamed experimental doll being controlled by M. Bison, EventHubs reported.
NeoFighters username LeonX posted images of a a prototype version of "Arcade Mode" in "Street Fighter 5" along with images of new daily challenges.
These new daily challenges in "Street Fighter 5" will contain various timed missions such as within story and survival modes. Gamers can also choose to join a battle lounge mission where they can earn rewards. Match challenges and fight requests are also available under varying difficulty modes.
Extra Battle in "Street Fighter 5", will have players encounter various special bosses for the “ultimate challenge.” Players would also be rewarded with plenty of in-game currency as a prize for winning.
"Street Fighter 5" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
