‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 11 news: Kaley Cuoco hints Season 10 to be last; Jim Parsons happy to reprise role as Sheldon amid exit rumors

Actress Kaley Cuoco, actor Kunal Nayyar, actress Melissa Rauch, actress Simon Helberg, and actress Mayim Bialik attend the People's Choice Awards 2017 at Microsoft Theater on January 18, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.

Fans worry that "The Big Bang Theory" may conclude the popular CBS sitcom show after season 10 because of two reasons - the show has not been renewed yet and Jim Parsons may not reprise his role as Sheldon due to other Hollywood projects.

However, despite the ongoing rumors about Parsons' exit from the show, the actor confirmed in an interview with TV Line that he does not think that the actors are planning to leave "tbbt" anytime soon. In fact, Parsons added that should there be an opportunity beyond season 10, he would be happy to reprise his role as Sheldon.

Kaley Cuoco (Penny), on the other hand, indicated that keeping the cast on the show may be an "expensive decision," sparking rumors that the CBS negotiations with the stars may not come through.

However, Cuoco also expressed her desire to continue being Penny for as long as the show is alive. She explained added that this is what all the entire cast wants. Even though it may be "sticky road," but if it were for them, they will definitely stay much longer.

At the same time, Johnny Galecki (Leonard) revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the show writers are "excited that they can write some more after this year, which is an incredible testament to them." He also explained that if the writers are confident, then they will be happy to keep the show going for longer.

For now, CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller reveals that the contract negotiations are on and and they are optimistic about the end results. However, he also hinted that there have been times in the past when shows have been cancelled due to failed contract negotiations.

"Big Bang Theory" Season 10 airs every Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS channel.
