Capcom does not seem interested in making a "Resident Evil 7 Biohazard" special edition for the Xbox Scorpio. The console will not be revealed until later this year and the game developers seem to have a plan yet for the release.
"Resident Evil 7 Biohazard" has been recently released and is already receiving mostly positive reviews. Capcom wanted to go back to the franchise's roots of being frightening and challenging for the players.
Instead of the usual third-person gunslinging action, players are treated to a first-person view of the protagonist. Fans and critics have praised Capcom for their decision to make "Resident Evil 7" actually scary again.
"Resident Evil 7 Biohazard" director Koshi Nakanishi and producer Masachika Kawata told Express Online that they currrently have no plans for the Xbox Scorpio because it is "not really out yet." Some are expecting a performance or visual boost for the upcoming console from Microsoft because it would be far more superior than the current generation.
There is no solid Xbox Scorpio specs or release date yet. However, speculations suggest that it will use updated hardware and will have more computing power than the current PlayStation 4 Pro and the Xbox One slim.
Leaked documents obtained by Must Tech News claim that the Xbox Scorpio will not support ESRAM but will still be able to render 4K games thanks to its octa-core CPU and 6 TFLOPs of compute performance.
The claims will still need to be tested when the actual device is revealed. It is expected to be unveiled at E3 2017 at the earliest or at an earlier press conference by Microsoft in order to take the spotlight all to themselves.
Capcom may still release a "Resident Evil 7 Biohazard" port for the Xbox Scorpio but fans should not expect boosts. The console itself is expeced to be released in the holiday season.
