"Resident Evil 7" reveals a launch trailer celebrating its recent video game launching. Upcoming downloadable contents get more details from the game developers.
The video game's launch trailer, which can be viewed below, is a collection of the different scenarios the players will experience throughout the story. It showcases the numerous human monsters that they will meet and fight off to survive. It also showcases the numerous grotesque monsters that constantly stalk the players, who are trying to find the exit or looking for the objective.
The video featured other characters that have not been introduced yet as well. There were a couple of human female characters that seemed to be related to the main protagonist. It also showcased other locations, which seemed to be located beneath the eerie house that the Baker family lived in.
Capcom revealed on the official blog of Hachima Kikou the upcoming DLCs, which are called the Banned Footage add-ons. They will continue to support the horror-survival video game post-launch with optional DLCs. These two contents will each deliver two more scenarios for players to play through and an extra bonus mode.
After the two extra add-ons, the game company will release an additional story episode called Not a Hero, and will be released for free to everyone this spring. It will introduce a storyline, which is separate from the main story. All of these upcoming DLCs will be available through the Season Pass and the deluxe editions of the video game, or through individual purchases.
On the official blog of PlayStation, the game company revealed that Banned Footage Volume 1 will be available on Jan. 31. It will be priced at $9.99 and it will include two tapes with a new mode.
In the Bedroom, players will have to figure out how to escape from a locked room, and at the same time sneak away from Marguerite Baker who thinks the player is still sleeping. In Nightmare, players will have to fight off a lot of enemies and survive until morning, while having the option to craft useful items and traps. Extra Mode or Ethan Must Die is an extremely difficult mode, which is separate from the tapes and the main story, but it does not support the PlayStation VR.
The second pack called Banned Footage Volume 2 will be available on Feb. 14. It will cost $14.99 and it will include two more tapes and a new mode as well.
21 is a sick and deadly game created and run by Lucas Baker, which the players will have to survive. In Daughters, it tells the story of the Baker family before the events of the main game. The Extra Mode called Jack's 55th Birthday is a mode where players have to feed Jack a lot of food before time runs out, and this does not also support PS VR.
