Vanessa Hudgens Say Ok Music Video (Official with Zac Efron)

Almost a year ago, actress-singer Vanessa Hudgens and actor-singer Austin Butler, landed themselves in a controversy and now, the lady is addressing her rock "carving" issue. The singer says, "I love mother nature."

The High School Musical star recently appeared on Sway Calloway's Sirius XM's morning show. She said commented on her controversy and tried to clear all about it. She quoted that it became a big issue in Sedona. She was on a hike with her boyfriend, when she wrote their names on the rock, as reported in Cosmopolitan.

She also revealed that people accused of the act, however, she took one rock and used it to write on the other rock. Hudgen's fine was issued in April 2016 which was later given to the organization 'Friends of the Forest'. The organization takes care of removing acts of vandalism.

The whole incident happened at the Coconino National Forest in Sedona, Arizona, the time Vanessa was on a hike with her boyfriend Austin. The lady had to pay almost $1000 as a fine for carving a heart and the words "Austin+ Vanessa", that happened on the last Valentines day.

However, she was quick enough to defend her act as per New York magazine's Vulture. The thing is a kind of a chalk, when rubbed comes off by itself, Hudgens added further on the same matter. She also added, "So I knew with the first rain it would go away. I'm such an earth person. I love mother nature. I love being connected to the natural environment.

It was a whole situation that was really frustrating. I don't mean to disrespect anyone or the land. It's not like I took a key and carved it."

The stars were under investigation during Feb. 2016. "I donated a lot of money to the park to say 'Sorry' for the drama it's caused you guys, but like literally with the first rain, it would've washed off," said Hudgens.

However, in the end, the only person she blamed was herself, as the show's host asked her. In-turn she replied that she posted it on social network Instagram, as per Artnet News.
