In "Resident Evil 7," there are a couple of useful items that players must acquire in order to survive the whole ordeal. One of those is the Flamethrower, a strong weapon that can incinerate annoying enemies like the flying insects and large monsters. Here is how players can get it in the video game.
After defeating Jack Baker in a previous confrontation, players will get the final dog head key for the front door, according to VG247. They can now go back all the way through the processing area basement of the main house, and back to the main hall. They can also get the shotgun if they did not get it on an earlier scene.
Players can now put the remaining dog heads into the front door. This will unlock the door and they can leave through the doors of the Main House, and explore the Yard.
Around this area, players will find several useful items that they can use throughout the video game. They can find a Lockpick, Herbs, an Antique Coin, Gunpowder, Supplements, Chem Fluid, a Repair Kit, and a shadow puzzle that cannot be completed for now.
After grabbing all of the items needed from the outside, players will now have to head to the next destination, which is the trailer. This room is safe, and will contain several items like a new weapon, a health bonus, and a dexterity bonus. They can spend their antique coins here for other items.
Players will also find a broken handgun inside, which is a little better than the standard handgun. Repair it with the repair kit to make it useful again.
After a scene in "Resident Evil 7," players will be directed to explore the Old House, according to Eurogamer. When they enter the building, they will meet several large insects, which is why they need to prepare their knives and slash them away.
Go left and north, through the door by the watery expanse in the middle of the room. Players will see a sign that says that She's Upstairs, Don't Go Up on the wall of the guest room, and it also has a nest with a swarm. It is advised that they should just run through the room to the door on the other side for now.
In this new corridor, go right into the room and explore the Dining Room cupboards and wardrobes for items. Players will find some Solid Fuel, Shotgun Shells, Med Pack, Chem Fluid, and Strong Chem Fluid.
Go to the north through the door to the outside, and then turn right on the porch, which players will find the Psychostimulants and a Lockpick. Go to the Water Station outhouse to collect an Herb, and a Burner Nozzle, which is the first part of the Flamethrower.
Go back to the house, go through the Dining Room, and then take the east door to the Gallery. Run through the Gallery to the outside, and then get the Burner Grip. After combining it with the Burner Nozzle, it will turn into the Flamethrower.
"Resident Evil 7's" Flamethrower uses ammo that can be produced by combining Chem Fluid with Solid Fuel that players can find throughout the house. They can now use this weapon to fight the insects and its nests in the building.
