It is also teased that Eleven's return could in episode 7 titled "The Secret Cabin" theorizing that it could be her hiding place after her fight with the Demogorgon. It is unknown yet if this "cabin" is from the real world or in the Upside Down world, Looper reported.

Eleven will also likely help Will in his struggles with the effects of the Upside Down world. cast member David Harbour stated during the Fan2Sea Comic-Con cruise that the story of "Stranger Things" season 2 will take place a year later after the events of season 1 and there are certain people in the town of Hawkins that know what happened, and then there are other people who do not know what happened. So there’s a lot of fall out with who knows what in the second season.

The trailer ends with a possible "Halloween" premier of "Stranger Things" season 2, but an exact date has yet to be announced.

"Stranger Things" season 2 debuts on Netflix in time for Halloween 2017.
