The image of the Meizu's unannounced budget phone, Meizu M5s has been leaked on Weibo, the Chinese social site. Now that the full specs and leaked photos of the M5s has surfaced, its arrival seems close at hand.
The smartphone was earlier spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site and it has also passed through TENAA certification in China. In the new leak, the front and back sides of the phone is revealed. The render shows the home button is located on the front of the device and the fingerprint sensor is said to come incorporated under it.
Meizu M5s Specifications and Features
According to TENAA listing, the upcoming phone Meizu M5s will sport a 5.2-inch IPS display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is rumored to come powered by octa-core 1.3GHz MediaTek chipset.
The Meizu M5s is speculated to come in three variants of RAM and storages. It will come packed with a 2/GB, 3/GB and 4/GB of RAM and have internal storage of a 16/GB, 32/GB and 64GB.
The smartphone is pegged to come pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It is likely to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing shooter. The phone is said to come equipped with a 2,930 mAh capacity battery and include support for fast charging. It is likely to cost 999 Yuan ($145), PlayfulDroid reported.
Just a week ago, the specs of Meizu's upcoming flagship smartphone Pro 7 were leaked online. The image of the new device was also surfaced online, which hinted the device to come with a dual-edge curved display.
Meizu Pro 7 Specifications and Features
The flagship phone is speculated to come with a 5.7-inch display. It is likely to come powered by MediaTek Helio X30 chipset. According to other source, the device will be equipped by HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset. Meizu Pro 7 is expected to come in three variants of RAM of a 4/GB, 6/GB and 8/GB of RAM and have common storage size of a 128 GB.
The fingerprint sensor is said to come with inbuilt in the home button. According to earlier leaks, the device was rumored to come with full metal body design. The phone's frame is said to be made of titanium. The 8 GB of RAM variant is likely to cost 3,799 Yuan ($552). The Meizu Pro 7 is expected to get announced in the second quarter of this year, Gizmo China reported
