'Overwatch' is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment.

Adam Sandler's "Sandy Wexler" co-star Terry Crews has a video showing his mock audition as a voice actor for "Overwatch." The audition is for the role of Doomfist, a character still unannounced by Blizzard Entertainment, the developer and publisher of the team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game.

In a YouTube video, Crews is shown projecting intense yet comical voice-overs while reading reaction lines for Doomfist. According to Game Rant, the lines are from certain responses the character had in previous recorded scenes as well as dialogue from others.

The video clip is short but it does a good job solidifying Crews as the leading voice actor candidate for the possibly upcoming hero. This is augmented by the fact that many people in the gaming community, as well as beyond it, support this prospect.

A clear example of this is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who took to Twitter to announce his support to the actor. He even went so far as to say that Crews was perfect for the role, with the "Idiocracy" star having muscles on his voice.

With Crews's knowledge and familiarity over the medium, it is expected that the he will have an edge over competition. That is if Blizzard is actually developing Doomfist for "Overwatch."

There is still no confirmation as to whether or not the hero will ever make it to the "Overwatch" roster, but with Blizzard constantly giving updates to keep the content fresh, it is possible for Doomfist to appear in the future. Crews voicing the character will surely please both fans and critics alike since the 25 million players of "Overwatch" will have thousands, if not millions, of fans.

The first time rumors of the "Sandy Wexler" actor playing as Doomfist surfaced when a thread in the official "Overwatch" Reddit page discussed about the possibility. It is further solidified when Crews himself replied to it, saying that he would certainly love to become the hero.

"Overwatch" is now available for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here is Crews's mock audition video:
