Visitors try out the massively multiplayer online role-playing game 'World Of Warcraft' at the Blizzard Entertainment stand at the Gamescom 2016 gaming trade fair during the media day on August 17, 2016 in Cologne, Germany.

Blizzard Entertainment has finally announced that effective today, "World of Warcraft" money can be used in other video games from the game company. Auction House prices of the video game have increased have spiked suddenly.

The game company recently announced on the official website of the video game that its players can now redeem their Tokens for Battle.net Balance funds. This is a new digital currency for the game company's platform. It can be used to purchase content for other supported video games made by the game company.

Players who usually visit the in-game Auction House and purchase a Token from the video game or use $20 of real world money can now choose two options. They can either add an additional 30 days of play time to their accounts in the video game, or they can redeem it to their Battle.net Balance. The last option transfers $15 to their account.

With the funds for Battle.net Balance, players will be able to buy services like in "World of Warcraft" character transfers, digital products like pets and mounts. They can also purchase in-game items in other video games, which were made by Blizzard Entertainment like loot boxes in "Overwatch."

The tokens from the video game have now become more desirable due to the changes the game company has made to it, according to the official website of WoW Token Info. AS a result of the new feature called Battle.net Balance, the sale price for the European Tokens went from a stable average of 110,000 gold to almost 160,000 gold in just one night.  The United States Auction prices are lower, but the increase spiked highly as well, which was from 60,000 gold to around 90,000 gold.

The Battle.net Balance has some restrictions that players have to follow. One of the restrictions is that the funds that have been added to the balance are not refundable except under special circumstances, and it cannot be changed into cash. Another restriction is that the balance can only be purchased and used within the players' currency in their countries.

Another restriction for the Battle.net Balance is that it is non-transferable. Players can instead purchase some items like digital games and "World of Warcraft" game time as gifts to other players. The game company also said that the balance cannot be used to purchase items from the Blizzard Gear Store, in-game products from "Hearthstone" on mobile phones, or subscriptions for the video game.
